In Kesher, it is of utmost importance to us to provide our students with the tools needed to assist them towards a successful future. As we value the importance of education, our students are able to partake in various programs geared to enable them to move on to other institutions after leaving Kesher should they so desire.
G.E.D.
For students requiring a G.E.D., Kesher provides a course two to three evenings a week taught by an experienced G.E.D. teacher. The teacher goes over all the required material, prepares the boys for the G.E.D. test and arranges the test to be given in Israel. This course is not included in the regular classes given in Kesher and the cost of the course depends on the amount of participants.
Israel College Program
Students wishing to take actual college courses while keeping with the Kesher schedule can register for classes at the local Touro college. While Kesher is not affiliated with the Touro Collage in Israel, students can sign up for any of the numerous classes which take place outside of the Yeshiva class time.
Joint College Programs
Kesher has joint College Programs which enable students to earn credits through various universities including Lander College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (Touro College), Hebrew Theological College and the Michigan Jewish Institute. Student registered in a joint program with any of these institutions becomes eligible to receive two semesters of credit (approximately 32 credits) for their year of study in Kesher. Enjoy our dynamic classes while knowing that you can be working towards earning your college degree.
